Bubursary

Bu offers two types of bursaries intended for students in need of additional financial assistance.

Bubursary. Scholarships and grants are gift aid meaning you do not have to repay them or earn the funds by working. The bu maintenance bursary and the bu care leavers bursary. The bu bursary scholarship card is a visa card. Bu offers a wide variety of merit scholarships some even covering full tuition to recognize high achieving students who go above and beyond.

Boston university merit need based and endowed scholarships are all made possible by generous gifts from alumni and friends of bu and by budget allocations authorized by the trustees of boston university. Most awards are for academic achievement while others go to talented athletes performers and artists. Eligible new students with a household income of 16 000 or below will receive a bursary of up to 2 400 to support their learning and living costs. Once bursary scholarship funds have cleared on your card account you can use the card and spend the balance as you would with a debit card plus you will start to accumulate savings when you spend at our retail partners.

Merit scholarships for first year students it s time for your hard work to pay off. The bursaries are generally available to students whose family or household income is 25 000 or below. You ll be awarded 800 in your first year and provided you still meet the eligibility criteria 800 in your second and final years of study.
